“Religion Exists Within Man, Not Man Within Religion”
Lalon Fakir lived in Bengal in the 18th and 19th centuries. His life was simple, yet extraordinary. He carried no wealth, no possessions, no titles. He wandered barefoot, singing songs that pierced the illusions of society.
He was born into a world divided by caste, religion, and social hierarchy. Yet his own life dissolved those boundaries. Some say he was born Hindu, others say Muslim. But perhaps that mystery is itself his message: he belonged to no single identity. He belonged to humanity.
